"It's not a cult because you’re free to leave whenever you want to.”

But when you do leave, expect the friendships you’ve made here to unravel.

But when you do leave, expect leadership to call you “rebellious” “disobedient” “walking in the flesh and not the spirit”.

But when you do leave, expect your “friends” to be told by leadership that they highly recommend you not talk to those people that are not apart of the church anymore.

But when you do leave, expect to be a)homeless or b)searching for a new living space because leadership who have highly suggested you live with them to get “deeper discipleship” and “closer to the Lord” have now kicked you out because you are not operating under their authority ie.: doing the things they tell you to do; whether it’s basic life decisions such as buying a new vehicle or choosing a job; going to spend time with family and friends outside of the church community etc etc

But when you do leave, because you feel uncomfortable about “words from the Lord” that feel more like words from MAN, know that you will be outcast and slandered from the very same people that welcomed you, love-bombed you, spoke words of encouragement, God’s calling for your life and gifts of the spirit and even prayed for you over intimate things in the beginning of your time here. Know that there will be a very visceral change in countenance.

But when you do leave, know that you were brainwashed into watching other people’s children and cleaning their homes for free to be “closer to the Lord”.

Know that you were encouraged to spend less time with your family because this is how they isolate you and get you to believe everything they tell you.

Know that if you’re a woman that’s leaving, you will have to deconstruct the lies that you have been told about sexual consent within a marriage, your identity in Christ as a person with pornography addiction or lust and other issues.

Know that if you’re a man that’s leaving, you will also have to deconstruct the lies that you have been told about sexual consent within a marriage, your identity in Christ as a person with pornography addiction or lust and other issues.

Know that the time, money, location (people give everything to move to crystal lake and be apart of this church;including moving in with other families that are already attending to be “discipled”) emotional and spiritual clarity and peace, family, friends, etc will be lost to however many years of spiritual abuse you can stand, and it will all feel worth nothing but a few good teachings, a few golden nuggets of truth and a big big lesson in discernment and judgement of character.

If you visit this church, do not ignore the signs.

I pray that God begins to deal justly with those in leadership that are dressed up like good shepherds but behind that disguise they are nothing but wolves in sheep’s clothing.
