We have arrived. No, not to the new earth. God forbid. We have, however, entered a time at which churches have decided to exchange the spiritual truths of God for the humanistic theories of man. In Acts chapter 10, God tells Peter not to call anyone that he has made clean, unclean. In another biblical passage, Paul tells the church that no one should do anything out of coercion. But these inconvenient passages are of no consequence to churches that have chosen to ignore them. Pastor J.P. Conway of Acklen Avenue Church of Christ in Nashville greets congregants as they enter the building with, "If you're vaccinated and you'd like to take your mask off when we sing, feel free." After which, more and more people started getting vaccinated. Conway, who keeps a list of the vaccinated and announces it twice on Sundays, stated he never wanted people to feel pressured. Although, he said making the announcement is his "indirect" way of telling congregants to get it. One lady hurriedly got the vaccine stating she "wanted to be added to the list." Some Anglican churches in Australia are leaning toward adding separate services for the vaccinated and unvaccinated, while churches like Crossway require vaccines for anyone serving in on-site ministry. Even though studies have shown that everyone can contract and transmit the virus, including the vaccinated. Using your gifts given by the Holy Spirit of God? Check. Unvaccinated? Sorry. Your gifts aren't welcome at our church. One of the reasons many Christians have refused the shot is that aborted fetal cells were used in the creation of the mRNA shot. Additionally, governments and scientists that mandate the shot almost unanimously support, fund, and celebrate ideaologies contrary to God such as human euthanasia, abortion, same-sex-marriage, transgenderism, and Gaia worship. According to 1 Corinthians 8, to defile your conscience by partaking in something you believe to be connected with pagan worship, is a sin. And any brother or sister who coerces one into it, is sinning against Christ. Some argue that because Romans 13 says Christians are to obey governing authorities, we have a duty to obey all government issued mandates. I say, they have forgotten our spritual ancestors who defied government mandates for the sake of conscience and righteousness. We are living through a trial run in compliance. Soon, the government will require it's leader's phylacteries to be adorned by everyone in order to buy, sell, and avoid persecution.
